The AK Party leadership, members of parliament, and representatives of the People's Alliance emphasized their support for Minister Gürlek through a series of statements. ÖMER ÇELİK: BASELESS AND DISINFORMATION
AK Party Deputy Chairman, Party Spokesperson, and Adana Member of Parliament Ömer Çelik was one of the first to respond. Speaking after the AK Party's Central Executive Committee meeting chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Çelik described Özel's allegations as "baseless and disinformation."
AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik stated that Özgür Özel is "the only politician whose eraser runs out before his pen. He makes so many mistakes that he constantly has to use an eraser. My fear is this: If this continues, it will erase the Republican People's Party from history as well," he said.
Spokesman Çelik expressed that despite Özgür Özel's promises to make statements for days, he continuously postponed them, and the allegations he raised were not based on documents, as in the past, and were later denied.
Reminding that state officials have declared their assets, Ömer Çelik emphasized that the allegations are not based on any concrete evidence. He stated that politics based on hearsay like "I heard, they said" is unserious, and those who have allegations should take them to court; otherwise, it is "politics of lies."

AK Party Deputy Chairman and Head of Social Policies Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya stated that Minister Gürlek has made the necessary statement, evaluating Özgür Özel's allegations as "a perception operation aimed at misleading the public and lacking evidence." Kaya said, "Slander cannot cover the truth, and justice cannot be obstructed."
