Özadam, who claims to have received an incapacity report in 2019, said, "Since 2020, I have been wandering like this, collecting. I have also had periods of working, but I have my incapacity report. I have appeared on all social platforms with this report. Am I a beggar in Konya? Since I have my own job, I do it with love and passion. Even if someone offers me 100 thousand lira, I would still choose my own job. I don't focus on numbers or do mathematical calculations. I live in the moment; I don't think about the past or the future. This life continues in some way. Whether you are rich or poor, whether you are a trader or not, the final stop is the black earth. Since it is my own job, I do it with love and passion," he said.

Doğan Özadam, who previously worked in the private sector, stated, "I don't have a university diploma, I don't have a rich father, and I am not anyone's protégé. I have worked in the private sector before, and I know what I have experienced. That's why I thought and said the best is my own job. I can't deal with 50 people, so let it be little but mine," he expressed.

Özadam, who said, "I will carry this job until the grave," stated, "I am known in all 81 provinces. They cannot end me by throwing me out of a shop, a place, a shopping mall, or a café. Don't think about how much he has earned, what model Ahmet's car is, or how much Doğan has collected; don't think about such things. Just let it go. Less talk, more work.
