ADMITTED WITH HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE COMPLAINT
According to the information obtained, 25-year-old Naci Aydoğdu, who had been a dialysis patient for 11 years, applied to the hospital about a week ago with complaints of high blood pressure. After examinations, the young man was hospitalized and found in his room having fallen from the stretcher. The young man, who had a laceration on his forehead, was treated in the intensive care unit after the first intervention. Aydoğdu lost his life after a week-long battle for survival.
“IT WAS SAID HE 'FELL IN THE TOILET' AT THE HOSPITAL, BUT IN THE POLICE REPORTS, IT WAS WRITTEN THAT HE 'FELL FROM THE STRETCHER'”
Aydoğdu's brother-in-law, Kenan Şahin, stated, "Our patient had high blood pressure. We brought him from home to the hospital. I went to the village to get a companion. It was said that dialysis would take 4 hours, but shortly after, I received a call from the hospital. I was told that our patient's nose was bleeding and that I needed to bring a companion and clothes. When we arrived at the hospital, we learned that he had been taken to intensive care, that he had fallen, and that he had received stitches. We were told he fell in the toilet, but the police reports state that he fell from the stretcher. We want this matter to be investigated. He had been a dialysis patient for 11 years and had been receiving dialysis at home for the last 6 months. We brought him to the hospital due to high blood pressure. We thank the doctor and staff, but we want any negligence to be revealed," he said.
PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE INITIATED AN INVESTIGATION
The Nevşehir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has initiated an investigation regarding the suspicious death, while Aydoğdu's body was taken to the hospital morgue. It was learned that the exact cause of death would be determined after the autopsy. The investigation related to the incident is ongoing.
