A 31-year-old foreign woman in Fatih fell from the window of her apartment on the 5th floor and lost her life. Broken alcohol bottles and glasses were found in the apartment. Another foreign woman, who was living in the same house and was heavily intoxicated, was taken to the police station for questioning.

At around 05:30 in the Silivrikapı neighborhood of the Fatih district in Istanbul, a foreign national named Gulzhamal Taalaibek Kyzy (31), who lived on the top floor of a 5-story building, fell from the window of her home for an undetermined reason.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Kyzy, who was seriously injured, was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Despite all interventions, Kyzy passed away.

The teams from the Fatih District Police Department's Public Order Bureau initiated an investigation regarding the incident. Zarına B., a foreign national who was staying in the same house, was found in an extremely intoxicated state. During the examination of the apartment, broken alcohol bottles and glasses were identified. Zarına B., who was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and did not speak Turkish, was taken to the police station for her statement.
"SUICIDE? WE DON'T KNOW"
Yasemin Savur, who runs a business on the ground floor of the building where the incident occurred, said, "We learned about the incident when we arrived in the morning. We had a customer on the 4th floor of our building, she used to shop from us. We don't know if it was a suicide or if she jumped herself. Her mother and she were at home; I didn't see anyone else coming in or out," she said.
Local tradesman Fevzullah Akarcık expressed that he knew the woman who died after falling from a height, stating, "When I arrived at work in the morning, the police had closed the street. The crime scene investigation teams were here. I know her; she was my customer. She had a daughter, a son, and herself. My customer said that the woman was handcuffed and taken into custody," he said.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
