A passport-style photo taken in 1980 of a little boy with blond hair, light-colored eyes, and a serious gaze, resembling Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, drew attention. It turned out that the person in the photo was the famous ballet dancer Tan Sağtürk. Showing his childhood frame again years later, Sağtürk also recounted an unforgettable memory from the days of the September 12, 1980 military coup.

The owner of the childhood photo that drew attention for his resemblance to Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ turned out to be Tan Sağtürk, one of Turkey's well-known ballet dancers. Just as the famous artist's frame from years ago, the story behind the photo also aroused curiosity.

IT WAS REVEALED WHO THE CHILD IN THE PHOTO WAS

Tan Sağtürk, one of the important names of Turkish ballet art, brought his black-and-white ID photo taken in 1980 back to the agenda. Little Tan, posing for the camera with his light-colored hair, distinctive facial features and serious gaze, drew attention for his resemblance to the famous actor Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ. Sağtürk, returning to his childhood years with the note "Year 1980," also told, alongside the photo, an event he experienced at that time and that was not erased from his memory.

HE EXPERIENCED THE SHOCK OF HIS LIFE ON HIS WAY TO BALLET CLASS

Tan Sağtürk, who received ballet training at a very young age, left home in 1980 to go to his class at the conservatory. However, that morning was different from usual. Seeing that the streets were completely empty, little Tan was stopped by the gendarmerie in the Karataş neighborhood of İzmir. When the officials turned him back, saying "martial law," Sağtürk, unable to understand what was happening, had to return home. His father's words to him that day, "Today is a holiday for you," were etched in his memory. This childhood memory recounted by the famous ballet artist dates back to the period when Turkey experienced the September 12, 1980 military coup.
