Tan Taşçı has once again turned to the courts due to an obsessive fan who has been following him for years. The actions of Nurşan Ç., who has even entered concert venues and posed a threat, are now jeopardizing not only the singer's safety but also his professional reputation. The artist's lawyer has requested an extension of the protection order.
Famous singer Tan Taşçı has applied to the court again, stating that he is under threat both physically and professionally due to his obsessive fan Nurşan Ç., who has been following him for over 6 years.
According to the allegation, Nurşan Ç. began sending messages, voice recordings, and videos to the singer on social media, becoming convinced that she was in a relationship with Taşçı. Over time, these behaviors turned into physical stalking, extending to concert venues and backstage areas. Taşçı filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office and obtained several restraining orders.
According to Hürriyet's news, as Nurşan Ç. was charged with 'stalking' and faced up to 2 years in prison, her threatening behavior continued, prompting Taşçı to apply to the Istanbul Family Court for an extension of the protection order. In a petition submitted through his lawyer Serkan Toper, it was stated that Nurşan Ç. caused disturbances by reaching out to Taşçı's management company and the charities he supports, and that she disrupted the artist's professional life by commenting on his social media posts.
The petition also included the following statements: "By coming to the backstage at concerts, she threatens the safety of both my client and his team. This situation is causing anxiety for event organizers and even the audience. His professional life is being systematically targeted."
It has been learned that Tan Taşçı, who continues with an intense concert schedule during the summer season, has requested an extension of the protection order for both stage safety and professional reputation. His lawyer Toper stated, "This period is one of the most critical stages of my client's career. The continuation of the threat not only endangers his safety but also puts his artistic life at risk," and requested additional measures from the court.
