Turkish Grand National Assembly Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş offered his condolences to those who lost their lives and wished a speedy recovery to the families and relatives of the victims in the incident involving the capsizing of a ferry that departed from Kyrenia Harbor in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Kurtulmuş expressed his hope that the ongoing efforts to rescue the passengers and crew would be successful.
"A TRULY TRAGIC INCIDENT"
In a post on his social media account, Kurtulmuş stated that he learned with deep sorrow that the ferry departing from Kyrenia Harbor in the TRNC had capsized.
In his post, Kurtulmuş conveyed the following statements:
