In the Mudurnu district of Bolu, the ventilation system stopped due to a malfunction in the control panel at a chicken coop. As the temperature rose inside the coop, approximately 4,000 poultry animals perished, and an investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
A technical malfunction in a chicken coop located in the Pelitözü village of Bolu's Mudurnu district caused great damage.
According to allegations, the ventilation system was disabled due to a malfunction in the coop's control panel. With the system not working, the temperature inside the coop rose rapidly in a short time.
APPROXIMATELY 4 THOUSAND CHICKENS PERISHED
Due to the rising temperature, approximately 4 thousand poultry inside the coop perished.
In the video I watched, it is seen that many dead chickens were lying motionless on the floor inside the coop, and a great loss was experienced in the production area where the feeding and drinking systems are located.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
Following the incident, damage assessment efforts were initiated at the poultry farm, and it was learned that an examination was conducted to determine the exact cause of the technical malfunction.
According to the Göynük newspaper's report, it was stated that the incident once again highlighted the critical importance of automatic ventilation systems in poultry farming.
