As the war bells toll in the Middle East, a major move has come from the United States that will shake the balance in the region. Eleven F-22 stealth fighter jets, known for their radar evasion capabilities, have landed in Israel after taking off from England. It has been reported that the deployment is not limited to just the jets, as hundreds of cargo planes and fuel tankers are also flooding into the region.
The U.S. military has carried out one of the most critical military deployments in recent days by stationing 11 F-22 stealth fighter jets in Israel. The arrival of the massive fleet from England is interpreted as a clear warning to Iran.
11 STEALTH AIRCRAFT IN ISRAEL
According to open-source flight tracking data, 11 F-22 fighter jets belonging to the U.S. took off from the RAF Lakenheath base in England and landed at Ovda Air Base in Israel. It was reported that the 12th aircraft in the fleet had to return due to a fuel leak during the deployment.
The jets that arrived in England last week were held at Lakenheath for several days due to technical issues with the refueling aircraft before moving towards the Middle East accompanied by KC-46 refueling planes.
WARPLANES POURING INTO THE REGION
According to reports from the Military Air Tracking Unit, the U.S. activity in the region is not limited to F-22s. In recent days, dozens of fighter jets, including F-35, F-22, F-15, and F-16 types, have been advancing towards the region.
Additionally, dozens of fuel tankers have been dispatched to the region since mid-February.
On the other hand, hundreds of cargo flights have been conducted as part of operational support.
CLEAR MESSAGE TO IRAN
Military analysts view the deployment of F-22s, considered the world's most advanced stealth aircraft, to Israel as part of the U.S. strategy to protect its allies in the region and provide deterrence against potential moves by Iran. The density of fuel tankers and cargo flights indicates that military preparedness in the region has turned into a long-term buildup.
