Due to the closure of airspace in some countries in the Middle East, Turkish Airlines has canceled its flights to Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman.

The Chairman of Turkish Airlines, Yahya Üstün, announced that flights to 10 countries have been canceled with specific dates.

Following the attack launched by the USA and Israel on Iran this morning, Iran has also begun retaliating. Targeting Israel, Iran has consecutively struck US bases in the Middle East. After these developments, Turkish Airlines (THY) made a statement regarding flight operations.

"DEVELOPMENTS IN AIRSPACE ARE BEING MONITORED IN REAL TIME"

In Yahya Üstün's statement, it was mentioned that "Due to the closure of the airspace of some countries in the Middle East; our flights to Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Jordan have been canceled until March 2, 2026; our flights to Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman have been canceled for February 28, 2026.
