MINIBUS AND TRUCK COLLIDED AT INTERSECTION
The accident occurred at an intersection on the Yuksekova Ring Road in the morning hours. A passenger minibus belonging to the Van Golu company, whose drivers' names have not yet been learned, collided with a truck. Upon notification, health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
TWO PEOPLE DIED AT THE SCENE
In the accident, O.O. and I.C., who were in the minibus, died at the scene. The 3 injured individuals were taken to Yuksekova State Hospital by ambulances after initial medical intervention by health teams.
INJURED PERSON UNDER TREATMENT AT HOSPITAL COULD NOT BE SAVED
Among the injured taken under treatment at the hospital, S.O. lost his life despite all efforts by the doctors. Thus, the number of fatalities in the accident became 3, while it was learned that treatment for 2 injured individuals continues.
TRUCK DRIVER RESCUED BY FIREFIGHTERS
After the accident, the driver trapped in the truck was removed from his location and taken to the hospital as a result of the efforts of the Yuksekova Municipality Fire Department teams.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
While police teams took security measures in the area, transportation was provided under control for a while. Investigation and inquiry into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
