Terrible accident in Istanbul: Pedestrian hit by two vehicles, lost their life

In Istanbul, Büyükçekmece, on the D-100 highway, two cars consecutively struck 42-year-old Dilber K. as she was trying to cross the road. K, who was seriously injured and taken to the hospital, could not be saved despite all medical interventions. The drivers of the two vehicles involved in the accident were taken to the police station to give their statements.

A terrible accident occurred in Buyukcekmece on the D-100 highway in the Ankara direction yesterday evening. Dilber K. (42), who was trying to cross the road at a point without a pedestrian crossing, was hit by two cars one after the other.

According to the information obtained, the unfortunate woman began to walk in the direction from which the vehicles were coming while trying to cross the D-100 highway. The accident that occurred at this moment cost the 42-year-old woman her life.

FIRST HIT BY A CAR

Dilber K., who was trying to cross the road, was first hit by a car with license plate 34 KUJ 038, driven by F.K. (26).

Immediately after the first impact, a car with license plate 34 KA 9416, driven by N.A. (31), which was traveling in the same direction, also hit K.

The unfortunate woman, hit by two vehicles in succession, was seriously injured. Upon the notification of those who witnessed the accident, health and police teams were dispatched to the region.

TAKEN TO HOSPITAL

Health teams arrived at the scene and provided first aid to the injured Dilber K. The 42-year-old woman was then placed in an ambulance and taken to the hospital.

It was determined that the unfortunate woman's health condition was serious, and she was taken under treatment at the hospital.

The interventions made by the doctors to keep Dilber K. alive did not yield results. K. lost her life despite all the interventions at the hospital.
