TFF Vice President Fuat Göktaş announced that goal-line technology will be used in the Süper Lig. Göktaş also announced that the system known as the "chipped ball" in public opinion, along with advanced semi-automated offside technology, will be implemented in the league.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has pressed the button for new technologies that will directly affect referee decisions in the Super League.
Speaking at the summer seminar of the TFF Central Referee Board (MHK), TFF Vice President Fuat Göktaş announced that goal-line technology will be used in the Super League.
GOAL-LINE TECHNOLOGY IS COMING
Göktaş stated that the necessary applications for the system known publicly as the "chipping ball" have been completed and said that the advanced semi-automated offside system will also be put at the service of Turkish football.
"With this system, we will further increase the accuracy and reliability of referee decisions. Preparations for the implementation of the system in the Super League continue within the framework of the planned schedule," said Göktaş, and announced that goal-line technology will also be used shortly.

Emphasizing the importance of goal-line technology, Göktaş said, "In football, correctly determining a goal sometimes means changing the fate of the season. Goal-line technology will be one of the most important innovations that eliminates the margin of error and strengthens the sense of justice. We will implement this technology in the Super League as soon as possible. Our aim is to take Turkish football further in every area."
NEW MESSAGE FROM MHK TO REFEREES
MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu stated that they will adopt a refereeing approach that increases the pace of the game and preserves the flow of football in the new season, saying, "We will resolutely intervene, within the framework of the rules of the game, against any behavior that reduces the quality of the game, wastes time, and harms the spirit of football."
