The President of TFF, İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, made a statement regarding the betting operation, saying, "All elements of football must be cleaned up. We started with the referees. Now we are continuing with the players. This week, the data we requested will come from the ministry. The technical director, medical staff, equipment manager, coaches, translator, healthcare workers, manager, representatives, and observers will also come this week. After this examination, we will clear our own path regarding what falls under TFF's jurisdiction. I hope our clubs will also clear their own paths."

TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu made striking statements regarding the agenda at a press conference held at the TFF Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities.

HACI OSMANOĞLU'S WORDS

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "For the sake of leaving clean Turkish football to our children and youth, we have embarked on this sacred duty, which we call a milestone in Turkish football, and for days now, both those who know and those who do not have been talking. It is important to see how much contribution each person has made to this valuable movement."

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "After we initiated this movement, we made a statement. We said, 'This sacred duty should not be a field for individuals or institutions to gain personal benefits; let us reach happy tomorrows together by contributing to clean Turkish football.' We entered this path with the awareness that there would be clubs and people in the sports community who would be harmed by it. Our aim is not for myself or my colleagues to anchor in this duty. As long as God permits, we have a debt to leave clean Turkish football to our youth and children. We will strive to serve for the duration that God allows."

"WILL NOT LEAK OUT"

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "We listen to the statements of both authorized and unauthorized, knowledgeable and unknowledgeable people. Sometimes we feel sad. It is said that there is manipulation in how this data is handled and where it comes from. Authorized voices say so. I do not find it very correct that they are not knowledgeable; these are informed people. I will explain how we obtain the information and how meticulously and fairly we act. Generally, information leaks out from institutions. Since we started this duty, we had 4 colleagues assigned, and after this data came in and we started to solve it, we told the 4 colleagues, 'It will not leak out.'

"NO MINOR LEAKS"

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "In 20-25 days, there has not been the slightest leak. Two hours before the transfers were made, our colleague responsible for legal affairs was not informed. We officially apply to our Ministry of Sports for this information, and the Ministry sends it to us through the Spor Toto organization. The companies mentioned are licensed under the Spor Toto Organization. The companies provide information to Spor Toto, and it comes to us through the ministry. Are you manipulating the information you provide to the institution you are licensed to? Is that possible? They would cancel your license. Is the ministry sending it to us by manipulation? No. We are the ones making the solutions. Such discussions do not contribute to the process."

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "It is said that there are friends who are victims. Information comes to us from the state, to the Legal Board. If there is reasonable suspicion, the Legal Board has the obligation to refer it to the judiciary. If they do not refer it, they commit a crime. A lawsuit can be filed for abuse of duty."

"WHOEVER IS INNOCENT WILL PROVE THEIR INNOCENCE"

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "My friends are also working with the Legal Board to refer to the PFDK, the first judicial body. If you can prove that you did not commit these crimes, you can appeal, and you will not be penalized. If you are penalized, there is the Supreme Court of football, the Arbitration Board, where you can apply. There are people who are thought to be victimized, and they talk a lot. We do not intend to victimize anyone. We are responsible for the honor and dignity of the entire football family. Whoever is innocent will prove their innocence."

"WE REQUESTED INFORMATION FROM COMPANIES"

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "Have the information been sufficiently obtained? There are 6 companies, one of which has had its license revoked. They say, 'Did you receive all the data in a healthy manner?' We requested information from these companies; you cannot just set aside the initial data that comes in. The information we received was meticulously examined by the Legal Board, and they referred it to the PFDK. Regarding missing or non-received information, we requested information from the same firms through the Ministry. A certain part has arrived. For those that have not arrived, there is a date here, and we filed a criminal complaint with the Prosecutor's Office regarding the data that was not provided. The Prosecutor's Office also requested information from the same companies. I hope they will arrive as soon as possible."

"THEY DO NOT WANT TO WATCH A THEATER"

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "Honestly, I do not want to watch a theater on the field, and those who say they want to clean Turkish football, not just from the perspective of spectators but also from those who contribute to this work, those who work day and night from the president to the manager, from the technical director to the equipment manager, football exists because they are there, our fans. They are the biggest workers. Some use their pocket money, some use the money they earn under difficult conditions. None of them want to watch a theater. They want a Turkish football where honest, fair, and equally distanced decisions are made, and successes are achieved on the field. There are clubs and players who will be harmed. There is a question in everyone's mind about how life will continue. In this country, God forbid, there was an earthquake, and something called a pandemic was invented.

"LET'S LEAVE A CLEAN TURKISH FOOTBALL"

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "We are constantly meeting to discuss how teams will continue their lives. No need to mention names, matches were played last weekend, one team lost 3 goalkeepers, and a young goalkeeper is in goal. Perhaps if the main goalkeepers were there, they wouldn't have made those saves. There is an opportunity behind everything. Many players from lower leagues have left, but we need to open the way for the youth. They can recruit players from Anatolia. As a federation, if we need to provide extra financial support by talking to the ministry, we will work on these issues as well. All of these will endure this hardship for the sake of cleaning up whoever is harmed. They will endure so that we can leave a clean Turkish football."

"EVERYONE SHOULD SUPPORT"

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "Everyone will contribute, but we need to abandon the mentality of whether we can derive any benefit. We may face difficulties for one or two years, but if we can live this with determination, tomorrow will be cleaner for the Turkish football family. I call on our esteemed clubs to support this movement, which is being courageously initiated for the sake of clean Turkish football, a movement that the world and Europe are watching with envy, leaving behind corporate and personal interests."

"I CALLED ON THE PRESIDENTS"

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "I called on the esteemed presidents to clean their own paths. What befits them is to carry out their own cleaning with their own will. We are doing this work sportively, but there is also a legal dimension to it. I thank our Chief Public Prosecutor of Istanbul and his team. They are also working meticulously. We are judging sportively, but they are continuing with the criminal prosecution in depth. In my opinion, it needs to continue. Elements that harm Turkish football must be expelled."

"PRESIDENTS SHOULD NOT BE SAD"

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "If the presidents encounter negative situations as a result of both our and the Chief Public Prosecutor's investigations tomorrow, they should not be sad. They should do their own cleaning. Of course, we started with the players. Everyone was satisfied when the referees were dealt with. When it came to the players, people started to dilute the issue and pull it in different directions. Cleaning cannot be done only with referees."

TECHNICAL DIRECTORS WILL BE ANNOUNCED

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "All elements of football must be cleaned. We started with the referees. Now we continue with the players. This week, the data we want will come from the ministry. Technical directors, health personnel, equipment managers, coaches, translators, health workers, agents, representatives, and observers will also come this week. After this examination, we will clean our own path, those under the jurisdiction of TFF. Our clubs will also clean their own paths, hopefully, this task will not be left to us or the prosecutor's office."

"NO NEED TO CHASE AFTER BENEFITS"

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "I repeat, this is a magic word, those who try to derive benefits from this, whether as an institution or personally, are the ones who are trying to dilute this issue, those who do not want clean football. Society will perceive it this way."

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: "There is no need to chase after benefits. If we want to touch our children, our tomorrows, everyone should put their hand under the stone. We, along with my colleagues in the administration, have embarked on this journey by taking risks. Many people here say that there will be elections tomorrow, who will you win the election with! We have no such concern. We decided to hold the election 12 days before, and God willing, it was granted. As long as we are allowed, we will work to set an example for our youth and children, and after that, we will go home and return to our work."
