TRIED TO CHOKE HIS WIFE
According to information from the police and local media, the incident occurred on Tuesday in Foley, Alabama. Allegedly, a person named Daniel Hernandez-Lopez attempted to choke his wife during a dispute at home.
Noticing the situation, the 13-year-old boy intervened to protect his mother. The police stated that the father tried to attack his son with a bicycle as the boy exited the house during the argument.
THREW PUNCHES AT HIS FATHER REPEATEDLY
In response, the boy repeatedly punched his father. Police officials reported that Hernandez-Lopez, who was said to be heavily intoxicated, had two black eyes and a severely swollen lip. Authorities also indicated that the man may have briefly lost consciousness.
FATHER ARRESTED
The police also expressed that Hernandez-Lopez might have been under the influence of drugs during the incident. The suspect was sent to Baldwin County jail on charges of domestic violence.
