It has been revealed that 3 people who have been missing since 2006 and 2007 were murdered and buried. While 3 of the 11 suspects detained in Bilecik and 7 other cities have been arrested, 4 human bones were found during excavation work at a farm in the Vezirhan district.
Bilecik Police Department's Public Order Branch teams reopened the case regarding individuals O.K., M.B., and Y.Ö., who were reported missing in 2006 and 2007.
SPECIAL TEAM ESTABLISHED
A special team was formed in October last year to find the 3 missing persons in the Public Order Branch. The special team operated based on the fact that there was no information in the case about when the 3 individuals went missing, using mobile phone signals. The investigation determined that O.K. went missing in June 2006, M.B. in August of the same year, and Y.Ö. in February 2007 in the town of Vezirhan.
85 MOBILE PHONE LINES EXAMINED
As part of the reopened investigation, 85 mobile phone lines were examined by the police, and information from 47 individuals was sought. It was determined that the last signal from the mobile phones belonging to the 3 missing persons was from a farm in the town of Vezirhan. During the underground search at the farm, it was revealed that the 3 missing individuals were murdered and buried. Four findings, believed to be human bones, were discovered during the excavation work and were taken for examination.
