Neurosurgeon Yunus Emre Durmuş, who was working in Samsun, passed away at the hospital where he was taken after falling ill at home. The 37-year-old doctor was reported to have been experiencing various health issues for some time.
Yunus Emre Durmuş, who worked as a neurosurgeon at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, fell ill at his home in Atakum district's Küçükkolpınar neighborhood in the early morning hours.
HIS FAMILY CALLED 112
Around 06:00, Durmuş complained of chest tightness, and his family notified the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, health teams arrived at the address and took Durmuş to a private hospital.
However, despite all interventions by the doctors, Yunus Emre Durmuş could not be saved.
HE HAD ANGIOGRAPHY 1.5 MONTHS AGO
It was learned that Yunus Emre Durmuş used weight loss injections due to his excess weight, and also received treatment for sleep apnea and testicular cancer.
It was reported that Durmuş had a heart attack approximately 1.5 months ago and underwent angiography for this reason.
