Businessman Andrew Cavenagh and an American consortium led by 49ers Enterprises have acquired a 51% stake in the Scottish club Rangers.
Businessman Andrew Cavenagh and an American consortium led by 49ers Enterprises have purchased a 51% stake in the Scottish club Rangers.
According to a statement on the club's website, the new president Cavenagh, who previously held management positions in the healthcare sector, has committed to investing £20 million in the club.
Paraag Marathe, the president of 49ers Enterprises and also the chairman of the English club Leeds United, will assist Cavenagh.
