HE WAS BOTH FIRED AND DETAINED
As part of the investigations, the angiography unit of the hospital has been suspended. The accountant H.Y. was detained as part of the investigation initiated regarding the incident. Additionally, it has been learned that the accountant was also fired from his job.
WHAT HAPPENED?
A 51-year-old man named B.T., living in Istanbul, had applied to a private hospital in Taksim on January 13, complaining of chest pain. It was stated that three of his arteries were blocked and that he urgently needed angiography. B.T. was referred to a private hospital in Bakırköy. While on the operating table for angiography, a person identified as the hospital's accountant bargained with him over the price of the stent.
