A significant portion of "affordable zero-home" listings published well below market value do not reflect reality. Experts warned that these listings are used to steer citizens toward more expensive properties, while genuinely low-priced homes often have legal or physical issues, urging caution.
It is stated that a large portion of zero-occupancy housing listings published at prices far from market realities are fake listings prepared to attract buyers. When citizens call about these listings, they are often told that the house was "just sold" or that a "deposit has been taken," and are directed to other, higher-priced properties.
SERIOUS ISSUES MAY LIE BEHIND LOW-PRICED HOMES
According to a report by Necmi Çiçekçi from Türkiye Newspaper; experts point out that real properties offered for sale well below market value often carry serious problems such as permit issues, legal problems, unfinished projects, problematic tenants, or basement apartments with dampness and flooding risks. Therefore, it is advised to be cautious about listings that are "too good to be true" and to meticulously examine all legal and technical details before purchasing.
