AGREED WITH RİZESPOR

The 62-year-old coach, who has not managed any team since the summer of 2024, has reached an agreement with Çaykur Rizespor, which parted ways with İlhan Palut. The announcement of the agreement is expected to be made shortly, and Abdullah Avcı is anticipated to take over the team.

ILHAN PALUT RESIGNED

At Çaykur Rizespor, head coach İlhan Palut announced his resignation following the defeat in the match against Kayserispor.

In his statement, İlhan Palut said, "I don't want to talk about the match. At least I don't want to make a match evaluation on behalf of myself and my team. We have been working here for 2.5 years. This is truly a wonderful club. There are very good people here. At this point, stepping back from a position has never been my style, but this team needs a new voice. This team needs new touches. Perhaps it is necessary to caress the backs of different players with more love. I am at peace with my conscience for every day I spent here, but this team needs a new breath. I thank my players. They did their best. All responsibility is on me. I thank the club's management and our president. I hope those whose hearts I have broken forgive me. I am making this statement without permission from the club. I thank everyone."
