The application screen has opened for millions of candidates who will take the YKS exam on June 21-22. The fee for the 2025 YKS exam has been set at 450 TL for each of the TYT/AYT/YDT.
The President of the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), Bayram Ali Ersoy, announced that the application process for the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) has begun.
ÖSYM President Bayram Ali Ersoy announced the start of the YKS application process through a post on social media. In his post, Ersoy stated the following:
"Dear candidate brothers and sisters, the application process for the 2025 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) has started. I remind you to complete your applications thoroughly and wish you a successful preparation period."
APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED BETWEEN FEBRUARY 6 AND MARCH 3
Applications for the TYT, AYT, and YDT exams, which will be held on June 21-22, 2025, started today.
Applications for the exam will be made between February 6 and March 3, 2025.
Candidates can make their applications through ÖSYM Application Centers starting from February 6, 2024, or individually via ÖSYM's website at https://ais.osym.gov.tr or through the ÖSYM Candidate Transactions Mobile Application.
EXAM FEE IS 450 TL
The exam fee for the 2025 YKS has been announced as 450 TL for each of TYT/AYT/YDT.
Details regarding the exam have also been clarified.
The Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) will be held on June 21, 2025, the Field Proficiency Tests (AYT) will be held in the morning session on June 22, 2025, and the Foreign Language Test (YDT) will be held in the afternoon session.
APPLICATION FOR 2025-YKS IS MANDATORY FOR MSÜ

Candidates who apply for the 2025 National Defense University (MSÜ) Military Student Candidate Selection Exam (2025-MSÜ) are also required to apply for the 2025-YKS in order to be considered for placement by the Ministry of National Defense at the National Defense University. Detailed information is available in the 2025-MSÜ Guide.
Candidates who have previously graduated from a higher education institution with an associate degree and/or bachelor's degree must check their graduation information through the e-government system and ensure that those whose graduation information is not found in the Higher Education Information System have this information processed into the system through their graduated university.
