The Ministry of Treasury and Finance has decided to freeze the assets of certain individuals and legal entities in Turkey based on reasonable grounds that they are providing financing to terrorist organizations.

The "Decision on the Freezing of Assets" prepared by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance has been published in the Official Gazette.

According to the published decision, based on reasonable grounds that they have committed acts falling under the crime of "financing of terrorism" within the scope of the Law on the Prevention of the Financing of Terrorism, the assets in Turkey of 7 individuals and 5 legal entities connected to PKK/KCK, 22 individuals connected to ISIS and AL-QAEDA, and 1 individual and 9 legal entities connected to FETÖ/PDY have been frozen.
