A 41-year-old woman was killed in the attack, and seven others were injured. The deceased woman was identified as a dentist and a mother of two children, aged 7 and 12.
RAN TOWARDS CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA
Witnesses stated that the attacker ran towards a play area called "Children's City" located on the third floor of the shopping center.
A witness to the incident said, "There was blood everywhere, and people were fleeing in panic."
ALLEGEDLY SHOUTED "I WANT REVENGE"
According to local media reports, the attacker allegedly shouted during the incident, "I have been bullied my whole life, I want revenge."
It was also among the claims that the attacker set off fireworks during the event.
CITIZENS INTERVENED
After the attack, some citizens at the shopping center intervened and neutralized the attacker. In the footage, the suspect's hands were seen tied behind his back with a belt.
An investigation into the incident has been launched, and it was reported that the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment.
