The incident occurred in the morning hours in the Karayolları neighborhood. According to information obtained, an unidentified suspect, who arrived in front of a pharmaceutical warehouse in his car, opened fire consecutively towards the building. After the attack, the suspect, trying to quickly flee in his vehicle, entered the wrong lane on his escape route and crashed head-on into an IETT bus.
CLAIM OF DEBT DISPUTE
Following the accident, numerous police teams were dispatched to the area to capture the suspect, who fled on foot leaving his vehicle at the scene. Initial investigations by police teams determined that the targeted pharmaceutical warehouse was empty at the time of the attack. The incident is believed to have stemmed from a debt dispute related to the building rental process.
FAKE LICENSE PLATE AND CARTRIDGE FOUND IN VEHICLE
It was determined that the vehicle used in the attack was registered under the name N.M.Ç. (54). In searches conducted on the vehicle, 1 cartridge and 1 pair of unregistered fake license plates were seized. While the vehicle was confiscated for criminal investigation, police operations to capture the suspect or suspects continue.
