It was claimed that in a voice recording alleged to belong to KİPTAŞ Chairman Ali Kurt, he said, "I paid for the work that didn't come."
A critical development occurred in the corruption investigation against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. A voice recording alleged to belong to KİPTAŞ Chairman Ali Kurt emerged as part of the investigation.
"I PAID FOR THE WORK THAT DIDN'T COME"
In the voice recording, the person identified as Ali Kurt was seen saying, "It's unfair to say this. KİPTAŞ blocked the way, KİPTAŞ did not help. Speaking like this by heart is unfair. The documents are there, I repeat, friends. They will appoint a trustee here today. I swear. They will annul this job, burn your guarantees, and put us in charge. Because I paid for the work that didn't come. Kadir brother, you say you never opened my way, you blocked my way, but in your life, they probably never blocked your way."
Another person, whose identity was not disclosed, was seen responding to Kurt, "We made a payment of 26 million without receiving a single penny."
"I HOPE WE END UP IN THE SAME CELL IF THEY PULL THE PLUG NOW"
In the continuation of the voice recording, Kurt was seen saying, "There were discussions in the voice recording. After the discussions, Kurt said: 'Did I make a payment before the receipt came, or did I not? Right now, I am in violation of the tender law... Look, if they pull the plug today, I have 26 million in charge. Sorry, but you can't say you didn't take risks, you didn't take responsibility. I hope if they pull the plug now, we end up in the same cell.'
