Istanbul MP Evrim Rızvanoğlu and Tekirdağ MP Cem Avşar, who resigned from the DEVA Party, are joining the CHP. It is expected that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel will announce this transition at the Bakırköy rally on Wednesday.

THERE ARE CURRENTLY 592 DEPUTIES IN THE ASSEMBLY Due to the death of Saadet Party Kocaeli Deputy Hasan Bitmez and DEM Party Istanbul Deputy Sırrı Süreyya Önder, the resignation of Turkey Workers' Party Hatay Deputy Şerafettin Can Atalay, and the resignations of AK Party Istanbul Deputy Murat Kurum, who was appointed as the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, as well as CHP deputies Burcu Köksal, Abdurrahman Tutdere, Hasan Baltacı, and Ahmet Önal, who were elected as mayors from their electoral districts, the total number of deputies in the TBMM has decreased from 600 to 592.
