Galatasaray’s Uruguayan footballer Lucas Torreira was sent off with a red card in the 65th minute of the Kasımpaşa match. Torreira, who received the first red card of his Süper Lig career, will not be able to play in the Fenerbahçe derby two weeks later if he is given a 2-match suspension.
In the 7th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Galatasaray was reduced to 10 men in the match in which they hosted Kasımpaşa.
TORREIRA SENT OFF WITH A RED CARD
In the 63rd minute of the match, Lucas Torreira received a yellow card after his challenge on Diarra. Referee Halil Umut Meler, who reviewed the incident after VAR's warning, canceled Torreira's yellow card in the 65th minute on the grounds that he was the last man, and showed him a direct red card. The Lions completed the remainder of the match one man down.
