The Istanbul direction of the Bolu Mountain Tunnel on the Anatolian Highway will be closed to traffic from October 13 to 31, on weekdays between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, due to pavement works.
In the morning hours, paving work was initiated by the highway teams at the Bolu Mountain Tunnel, which is the most important transit route between Ankara and Istanbul, on the Anatolian Highway.
ISTANBUL DIRECTION CLOSED FOR 19 DAYS
Due to the works, the Istanbul direction between Abant and Kaynaşlı toll booths, which includes the Bolu Mountain Tunnel, will be closed to traffic on weekdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM between October 13 and October 31.
DRIVERS WILL BE DIRECTED TO D-100
In a statement made by the Bolu Governorship, it was stated that "Due to the paving work to be carried out at the tunnel portal entrance towards Istanbul between Abant Junction and Kaynaşlı Junction (including Bolu Tunnel) on the Anatolian Highway, the Istanbul direction will be closed to traffic on weekdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM starting from Monday, October 13, 2025. The work is planned to be completed on Friday, October 31, 2025, and during this process, drivers will be directed from Abant Junction to the D-100 State Road and will be able to rejoin the highway from Kaynaşlı Junction."
