Enes Çelik, the club president of Bursaspor, which has been promoted to the Trendyol 1st League, stated that they have allocated a budget of 12 million euros for the new season. Speaking about transfers, Enes Çelik said, “We have completed the transfer of one foreign player. Their leagues are ongoing. We will announce it when their leagues end in mid-May. We are in talks with two players, and those are at the final stage.”

Bursaspor, who declared their championship in the TFF 2nd League Red Group and promoted to the TFF 1st League, held a meeting with the press at the organization of TSYD Bursa Branch, with club president Enes Çelik.

"OUR EXPECTATION IS TO PROMOTE TO THE LEAGUE WE BELONG TO"

TSYD Bursa Branch President Mehmet Ali Ekmekçi, who made the opening speech at the program, expressed their happiness to come together with champion Bursaspor again this season, as last season, and said, "Bursaspor's two consecutive championships made all of us happy. Our expectation is to promote to the league we belong to as soon as possible". After Ekmekçi's short speech, Bursaspor club president Enes Çelik, who made a statement to journalists, stated that these meetings are nice and meaningful, and said, "Not only the team, but also the press members have great effort and endeavor. We are here with the joy of being promoted to the 1st League this season. Our job is not finished yet; especially, it is essential for us to promote to the Super League next year as well".

"WE REACHED 17 THOUSAND IN JERSEY SALES"

Çelik, stating that they continue their work to promote to the Super League, said, "The transfer period hasn't started yet. It seems like it has started for our fans. We are generally experiencing the joy of promoting to the upper league in sports terms. Financially, we will have our financial general assembly on May 31. We will explain the data in the simplest way. It is important not to leave the debt from our term to the new term. Not increasing the debt in this environment is a significant success. We are not just not increasing it; we are decreasing it. There are club presidents who want to meet with us on this matter. The support from our fans is very important. The '700th Year Conquest' jerseys exceeded 17 thousand. When we became champions, we sold 21 thousand jerseys. Now we reached these numbers in 2 days. We want to leave things that will profit the club through sports-related projects. I thank our fans for not leaving our promise unfulfilled. While congratulatory messages continue, it turned into 'we can't find a season ticket on the second day'."

"OUR BUDGET IS 12 MILLION EUROS"

Çelik, stating that they aim to finish transfers early and send the team to camp with a full squad, said, "These plans are continuing as planned. Our transfer target this year is 5 foreign and domestic players. There will be 1 or 2 players with transfer fees. We had a budget study of 12 million euros. This is the budget we created for salaries for the A team, all expenses we will make, transfer fees, salary expenses, and camp expenses. Our main figure is planned as 12 million euros. Starting the journey by preserving the team's core will provide us with an advantage."

"WE HAVE FINISHED 1 FOREIGN PLAYER, NEGOTIATIONS CONTINUE WITH 2 PLAYERS"

Enes Çelik, giving the news that they have completed a foreign transfer, said, "We have finished the transfer of 1 foreign player. Their leagues are ongoing. We will announce it when their leagues end in mid-May. Negotiations with 2 players continue and are at the final stage. There is interest from foreign players towards Bursaspor. We want the players we will acquire to be players we will continue with in the Super League as well. We will see our team fully ready by June 27."

Answering the question about players who will leave, Enes Çelik said, "Bursaspor must know how to say goodbye. These players fought on terrible pitches. Some of them are certain to leave over time, some are not. We will bid farewell in a manner befitting Bursaspor. We will part ways with 7 players, but we will part with them reluctantly."

"WE WILL MEET WITH ALİ AY REGARDING HIS RECEIVABLES"

Çelik, explaining the current situation regarding former president Ali Ay's receivables from the club, said, "We will have a meeting next Friday. After that, we will make a statement on this matter. We will inform the public on this issue, positively or negatively."

"THE SURVIVAL STRUGGLE OF BOTH BASKETBALL TEAMS DOES NOT BEFIT THE CITY"

Enes Çelik, also touching on the basketball branch, said, "We want there to be a single basketball team in Bursa. Sezer Sezgin had great efforts in basketball. It is necessary to sit down with TOFAŞ and form a strong team for Bursa. We need to bring 2-3 legal entities together and start the season with a strong team. The survival struggle of both teams does not befit Bursa, because..."
