A collapse occurred on the road due to the bursting of an irrigation water pipe in the Alanya district of Antalya. The overflowing water dragged a parked car into the garden. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
In the Alanya district of Antalya, a water pipe used for irrigation burst, causing a sinkhole on the road, while the overflowing water dragged a parked car into the garden.
The incident occurred last night on Bük Street in Kestel Neighborhood. The water pipe, which runs underground for irrigation, burst due to high pressure.
OVERFLOWING WATER DRAGGED THE CAR
As the water pipe burst, a sinkhole formed on the street, and the overflowing water dragged the parked car into the garden located at the lower part of the road.
Upon notification, a gendarmerie team was dispatched to the area. The car that was dragged into the garden was removed with the help of a crane. Work has begun to repair the burst water pipe and to restore the road where the sinkhole occurred.
