Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran came to the stadium to watch the Eyüpspor-Fenerbahçe match after being summoned for his statement as part of the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran followed the Eyüpspor-Fenerbahçe match from the stadium after being summoned to give a statement as part of the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. After the match, Sadettin Saran made statements to the press.
'I DID NOT COMMIT A CRIME'
Expressing that he did not commit a crime, Saran said, "I would like to thank those who support me. Am I the best person in the world? No. Am I perfect? No. Did I commit a crime? No. If the state calls, I will come immediately, no matter where we are. We have no accounts that cannot be given. We do not act like others and avoid coming." he said.
'WE HAVE NO CHANCE OTHER THAN TO BE CHAMPIONS'
Continuing his words, Sadettin Saran stated, "I will never forget the support of the fans throughout my life. God willing, we will be champions and make them happy. I am so glad to be a part of this community. Being the president of this club is the greatest honor and pride of my life. You saw the unity... We have no chance other than to be champions now." he expressed.
PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE CALLED FOR A STATEMENT, CAME TO ISTANBUL
The drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau is ongoing. In this context, a directive was issued for Saran, who is being investigated for "providing narcotic substances" and "facilitating the use of narcotic substances," to be prepared at the courthouse for his statement to be taken. Saran, who was abroad and arrived in Istanbul late at night, came to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan and gave a statement to the public prosecutor conducting the investigation.
HAIR AND BLOOD SAMPLES WERE TAKEN
After completing his statement at the prosecutor's office, Saran was referred to the Forensic Medicine Institution for the collection of hair and blood samples.
RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL
After completing his procedures here, Saran was brought back to the Istanbul Courthouse. Saran was referred to the peace criminal court with a request for judicial control in the form of a travel ban abroad for the crimes of "providing narcotic substances," "using narcotic substances," and "facilitating the use of narcotic substances." The court issued a decision for judicial control measures as requested.
