Today, the cabinet, chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will focus on the investigation into the C130 military cargo plane that crashed near the Georgian border. The initial analyses of the black box brought to Ankara and technical reports will be evaluated in detail during the meeting.
THE PROCESS OF A TERROR-FREE TURKEY
Another critical agenda item for the meeting will be the vision of a Terror-Free Turkey. Developments on the Syrian front, the current status of the fight against terrorism, and the operations of security forces in the field will be presented to the cabinet. Additionally, Turkey's initiatives regarding ceasefire diplomacy in Gaza and the conflict environment in Sudan will also be discussed.
ECONOMY AND THE NEW JUDICIAL PACKAGE WILL ALSO BE DISCUSSED
Topics related to the economy will include the fight against inflation, new steps planned to combat the cost of living, and current macroeconomic data. Furthermore, it is expected that the new judicial package, which is currently being prepared, will be discussed one last time in the cabinet before being submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. After the meeting, President Erdoğan is expected to make a public statement.
