In Yalova, a lawsuit was filed seeking up to 3 years in prison on the charge of 'providing, distributing or disseminating products containing images, writings and statements prepared for the purpose of facilitating prostitution or procuring prostitution' against Tevfik Beyhan, who was arrested after inviting young girls to work in such workplaces under the nickname 'Reşo' via the live broadcast feature at a casino he went to with his girlfriend, and his girlfriend, who was released after her statement.

In Yalova, in August, Tevfik Beyhan, who went to a nightclub with his girlfriend Dilan P., made a post via a live broadcast on a social media application in the presence of his friend.

HE INVITED YOUNG GIRLS TO WORK AT THE NIGHTCLUB

In his broadcast under the nickname 'Reşo', Beyhan, who introduced himself as the manager of the nightclub, invited the young girls who watched the broadcast and asked questions by sending messages to work at these workplaces, and called out: “We will reach you. If you have any trouble, we will help; if you have a problem, we will help, relax. We bow to no one; as long as you are with us, you will have no trouble. You will have food, drink, and accommodation. You will earn your money. You will not bow to any king, relax, my brother. We will act as older brothers, as friends, as fathers, relax, no problem.”

HE PRAISED THE VENUE

Answering the questions directed at him during the live broadcast, Beyhan said in another post: “The venue is right on the beach; you can swim, you can go in. We have a garden; you can have a barbecue, play okey and stuff here. I mean, food, drink, and accommodation service is already mine; our venue is nice, I mean.”

SUSPECT CAUGHT IN BURSA

Following the social media live broadcast in Yalova, an investigation was launched on the order of the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor. Within the scope of the investigation, security officers who went to the nightclub learned that Beyhan, who made the post, was not a manager or employee, but had come only as a customer. Police detained Beyhan, who had an arrest warrant, in Bursa, and his girlfriend in Yalova. Of the suspects brought before the court, Beyhan was arrested and remanded in custody, while his girlfriend was released.

Within the scope of the investigation launched by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Tevfik Beyhan, whose statement was taken, stated that he worked as a waiter at a nightclub in Bursa and said: “I met Dilan P. on social media two months before the incident. That evening we went to the nightclub to have fun together. Due to the effect of alcohol, I don't know what I said. I do not accept the accusations.” Dilan P., in her defense, said that she went to the nightclub to have fun at night upon the invitation of Tevfik Beyhan, whom she knew by the nickname 'Reşo'. Stating that she did not hear what her boyfriend said due to the noise in the nightclub, Dilan P. did not accept the accusation against her.

UP TO 3 YEARS IN PRISON, JUDICIAL FINES UP TO 2,000 DAYS SOUGHT

After the investigation conducted by the Yalova Public Prosecutor's Office, a lawsuit was filed against the detained defendant Tevfik Beyhan and his girlfriend in the Criminal Court of First Instance, seeking up to 3 years in prison and a judicial fine of between 200 and 2,000 days for the offense of 'providing, distributing or publishing products containing images, writings and statements prepared for the purpose of facilitating or mediating prostitution'.

The trial of Tevfik Beyhan and his girlfriend will begin in the coming days.
