TRUCK COLLIDED WITH CAR
The accident took place at the Eşmekaya junction on the Aksaray - Konya highway. According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 68 BA 857, carrying referees who were returning to Aksaray after officiating the semi-final match at the school sports competitions held in the Eskil district, collided with the truck with license plate 68 ADE 074, driven by Muhammet S., at the Eşmekaya junction.
4 REFEREES AND A TOTAL OF 5 PEOPLE INJURED
In the accident, the car driver and referee Ebubekir K., Şeyma E., Ufuk B., and Fahri İ. were injured. Upon notification, health, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital for treatment after the initial intervention by the health teams at the scene.
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED REGARDING THE ACCIDENT
Due to the accident, there was a temporary traffic congestion at the junction, but transportation returned to normal after the vehicles were removed with the help of a tow truck. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
