Concerns continue to grow regarding a significant increase in foodborne poisoning cases in recent times. A Russian woman living in Turkey noticed chicken products that had turned green, emitted a strong odor, and were allegedly past their expiration date while shopping at a supermarket. She reported the situation to the store staff, and those moments were recorded on her mobile phone camera.

Recently, a series of foodborne poisoning cases have raised concerns among the public, and a Russian woman living in Turkey reacted strongly upon noticing that chicken products sold in the aisles of a chain supermarket were turning green and emitting a foul odor. The products, which were claimed to be past their expiration date, became a topic of discussion after the woman's warnings and recordings with her mobile phone camera.

"I HAVE WORK TO DO, WHAT HAPPENED?" REACTION

In the footage shared on social media, it is clearly heard that the woman calls a supermarket employee to the aisle, and the employee initially responds with an indifferent attitude, saying, "I have work to do, what happened?" After the woman's insistence, the employee comes to the aisle and, after examining the chicken products that appear to be spoiled and green, brushes off the situation by saying, "We'll check it later."

The Russian woman reacts to the employees' attitude, warning, "This fridge smells completely rotten, the chickens have turned green. Someone could buy them and get poisoned by tonight."

FINALLY REMOVED FROM THE FRIDGE

In an incident reported to have occurred at a three-letter chain supermarket, the employee, upon the customer's insistence, removes the allegedly spoiled chicken product from the shelf, saying, "It was overlooked, we will take it away."

DISPUTE OVER RECORDING

In the footage, it is heard that supermarket employees object to being recorded, saying, "It is a crime to film us," while the woman states that she is documenting the situation for a possible complaint and that she will report it to the police. It is also noteworthy that the faces of the supermarket employees are obscured in the shared video.

FOOD SAFETY BACK ON THE AGENDA

With the recent increase in food poisoning cases, the footage has once again brought the adequacy of inspections in supermarkets and the negligence regarding food safety to the public's attention.
