The preliminary autopsy report for 4-year-old Nazlı Şeşen, who went missing while playing in front of her house in Denizli and was found dead two days later in the Aksu Stream, has been released. The report indicated no findings other than drowning.

The only child of Gülizar-İsmail Şeşen couple living in Kocabaş Neighborhood of Honaz district in Denizli, 4-year-old Nazlı Şeşen went to visit her neighbors with her grandmother of the same name the other day. In the afternoon, Nazlı Şeşen went outside to play in front of the door and disappeared. Upon the family's report, gendarmerie, AFAD, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the area.

LAST SEEN WALKING ON THE RAILWAY

In the investigation, it was determined that Nazlı Şeşen was last seen leaving her house and walking on the railway in front of their home, after which she went missing. The camera footage suggested that Şeşen might have fallen into the stream as she headed towards the bridge over Aksu Stream while walking on the railway. The divers of the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department entered the stream to search. During this time, a slipper belonging to Nazlı Şeşen was found by the stream. Due to the high flow rate of the stream, the gates of Akbaş Dam, which feeds Aksu Stream, were closed. Search efforts continued for 2 days from the air and on land.

"WE WERE VISITING, NAZLI WAS NEXT TO ME"

Describing how Nazlı went missing, her grandmother Nazlı Akça said, "We were sitting as guests, and Nazlı was sitting next to me. She went outside to play. When she didn't come back, I sent my son to check. My son came back and said, 'Mom, Nazlı is not outside.' I thought she had come home and came to check the house. I didn't know she had gone down to the stream. We couldn't find our child. Everyone went down to look at the stream. They found Nazlı's slipper there."

BAD NEWS CAME

The lifeless body of Nazlı Şeşen was found yesterday around 3:30 PM. The little girl's body was found and retrieved from Aksu Stream, located 5 kilometers away from where she went missing, by divers.

CAUSE OF DEATH: DROWNING

According to the information obtained, the preliminary autopsy report of the girl showed no findings other than drowning. The girl's body will be received today and buried in Kocabaş Neighborhood after the noon prayer.
