The Başakşehir Mobile Park police received a tip-off about a strong smell of drugs coming from a villa located in the Bahçeşehir 1st Section neighborhood. Evaluating the tip, police teams worked around the villa for about 3 days. During the investigations, it was determined that the curtains of the 3-story villa were closed and there was no movement inside. After observing suspicious individuals entering the house at certain times, the police teams climbed to the chimney area with a ladder since the inside of the villa could not be seen. POLICE CAUGHT THE SUSPECT WHILE SLEEPING
After completing their preparations, the Başakşehir Mobile Park police moved into action for the operation around 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 30. When the teams arrived at the villa and found the door unresponsive, they broke a window to enter. While searching inside, the police saw one person sleeping in the bedroom. Muhammet Furkan Ş. (29) was caught sleeping in his bed. The police teams, who went down to the lower floor of the villa, seized 71 cannabis plants along with lighting, heating, and irrigation systems in the established greenhouse. MARKET VALUE 15 MILLION LIRA
While examining the first floor of the villa, the police found 4 boxes of dried marijuana, and on the third floor, they discovered 16 cannabis plants in pots. A total of 87 cannabis plants, along with 2 kilograms and 290 grams of marijuana, and 4,090 lira, 300 dollars, and 2,200 euros believed to be obtained from drug trafficking were seized. It was learned that the market value of the seized drugs was 15 million lira. Muhammet Furkan Ş., who was detained, was taken to the police station after his arrest. Here, his statement was taken, and the suspect was referred to the courthouse for judicial proceedings. Muhammet Furkan Ş. was arrested and sent to prison for the crime of 'manufacturing and trafficking drugs.'
