The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) announced that its total reserves decreased by 6 billion 773 million dollars in the week ending April 11. While gross foreign exchange reserves fell by 9 billion 831 million dollars, gold reserves increased by 3 billion 60 million dollars.

The Central Bank's total reserves decreased by 6 billion 773 million dollars in the week ending April 11. The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) announced the Weekly Money and Banking Statistics. Accordingly, the Central Bank's total reserves decreased by 6 billion 773 million dollars in the week ending April 11, reaching 147 billion 488 million dollars.

AN INCREASE IN GOLD RESERVES WAS OBSERVED

Gross foreign exchange reserves fell from 77 billion 838 million dollars to 68 billion 7 million dollars, a decrease of 9 billion 831 million dollars. Gold reserves, on the other hand, increased by 3 billion 60 million dollars in the week of April 11, rising from 76 billion 422 million dollars to 79 billion 482 million dollars.
