With the start of the season in the Super League, Ferhat Gündoğdu, the President of the Central Refereeing Committee (MHK), who has been at the center of the ongoing discussions regarding referee decisions, has decided to resign.
Recently, many clubs, including Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe, have been demanding the resignation of Gündoğdu. It was stated that Gündoğdu, who was targeted after the referee scandals, chose to resign as a result of these pressures.
HACIOSMANOĞLU WILL ACCEPT THE RESIGNATION
According to a report by Sabah Newspaper, TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu held a private meeting with Ferhat Gündoğdu. After the meeting, it was expressed that Hacıosmanoğlu would accept the resignation.
GÜNDOĞDU'S SECOND TERM WAS SHORT
Ferhat Gündoğdu previously served as the President of MHK for 6 months during the 2021-2022 season. Gündoğdu, who was appointed for the second time on July 23, 2024, saw his new term end prematurely under the shadow of controversies.
