President Erdoğan, who is in the United States to attend the 80th General Assembly of the UN, was asked about the TRC (Turkey-Russia-China) Alliance proposal from MHP leader Bahçeli. Erdoğan responded to the journalist's question, saying, "To be honest, I couldn't follow it completely; I wish it well."

President Erdoğan, who came to New York City in the United States to attend the 80th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) and hold various meetings, also answered journalists' questions regarding the agenda.

A reporter asked President Erdoğan about the proposal of MHP (Nationalist Movement Party) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli regarding the TRÇ (Turkey-Russia-China) Alliance.

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli proposed a new alternative to Turkey's NATO-centered foreign policy with a written statement on September 18.

Bahçeli stated, "The most suitable option against the US-Israel coalition that challenges the world is the construction and revival of the 'TRÇ' alliance, which aligns with reason, diplomacy, the spirit of politics, geographical conditions, and the strategic environment of the new century," and added: "It is our desire and proposal that the TRÇ alliance consists of Turkey, Russia, and China."
