Denizli İdmanyurdu, achieving success by being promoted to the TFF 3rd League as champions, announced that it has decided to withdraw from the league due to not receiving support from any institution. Club president İbrahim Gürel stated that during this challenging process, they have not had the support of any institution or individual, and expressed that Denizli does not recognize this value. As a result of this situation, they announced their decision to either sell or close the club.

The Denizli İdmanyurdu Gürellerspor, which became the champion in Group 7 of the TFF Regional Amateur League and was promoted to the TFF 3rd League, has decided to withdraw from the league.

According to the news from 20 Denizli; the club president İbrahim Gürel explained the reasons for their decision, stating, "After the championship, we had great hopes, but we experienced significant disappointments. In this challenging process of transitioning from amateur to professional, we did not see any institution by our side. We realize that Denizli is not aware of this value, that the championship has not been fully embraced by this city, and unfortunately, we see that we are left alone."

We are happy to have brought Denizli to the professional league without leaving it without a team during a difficult time of exiting the Regional Amateur League. However, we are in great sorrow because our psychological strength is no longer sufficient to elevate the team to higher leagues, and due to the lack of results from the discussions we had to strengthen the management, the prominent protocol members of the city did not even come to the matches and celebrations, leaving the team alone and Denizli football without support.
