MENTAL HEALTH REPORT REQUESTED
According to local media reports, the court panel ruled that Eshun, whose first hearing was held, should undergo a psychiatric evaluation at Pantang Psychiatric Hospital to determine his fitness for trial. The psychiatric report is requested to be submitted to the court before the next hearing.
HEARING POSTPONED TO JANUARY 16
The court decided that the hearing would take place on January 16 after the report is prepared.
HE WAS DETAINED DURING A LIVE BROADCAST ON DECEMBER 31
The Ghana Police Service announced that Evans Eshun was detained by a special cyber investigation team under the Inspector General of Police during a live broadcast he made on social media in the Weija-Gbawe area on December 31, 2025. The police stated that the detention was carried out as part of efforts to prevent content that could create fear and panic in the cyber environment.

Eshun, known on social media as "Ebo Noah," claimed that he received a message in his dream that a great flood would occur on December 25, which caused a wide reaction across the country. The posts had become a topic of discussion due to the potential threat to public order.
