The Chief Advisor to the President, Hamdi Kılıç, has passed away.
Kılıç's death was announced by Cemil Ertem, one of the Chief Advisors to the President, on his X account. In his post, Ertem stated, "We have lost our valuable colleague, Chief Advisor to the President Hamdi Kılıç. I am very sad. May God have mercy on him, and may his place be paradise. I wish patience to his family from God."
Kılıç also served as a speechwriter for President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
HE WILL BE BURIED IN ANKARA
AK Party Secretary General Eyyüp Kadir İnan announced that the funeral will be held today after the afternoon prayer at Ahmet Hamdi Akseki Mosque and will be buried at Gölbaşı Cemetery.
In his message regarding the death of Chief Advisor Hamdi Kılıç, AK Party Secretary General Eyyüp Kadir İnan used the following expressions:
"Our Chief Advisor, our esteemed elder brother Hamdi Kılıç, has passed away. He served our party and our President with unwavering loyalty, dedicating his life to his cause, his nation, and his state with his deep knowledge and identity as a thinker. His funeral will be held today after the afternoon prayer at Ahmet Hamdi Akseki Mosque and will be buried at Gölbaşı Cemetery. May God envelop him with mercy, may his place be paradise, and may his rank be exalted. May God grant patience to his family and our community."
