Before the party congress trial to be held tomorrow in the CHP, notable developments have occurred. A newspaper reported that the Mayor of Ankara, Mansur Yavaş, stated in an interview regarding a possible absolute annulment decision, "I will not meet with Kılıçdaroğlu again." However, Yavaş responded to the newspaper's report via his X account, saying, "I did not make such a statement."
Before the party congress case to be seen tomorrow in the CHP, discussions related to the issue have also flared up. The speculation that started with the meeting of ABB President Mansur Yavaş and former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu on June 23 in Ankara continued with new allegations.
It was claimed that during the meeting, Kılıçdaroğlu rejected the proposal to meet with Özgür Özel and stated that he would accept the "absolute nullity" decision.
YAVAŞ'S CLAIM: WHAT YOU ARE DOING WILL DIVIDE CHP
After this meeting, it was also claimed that Mansur Yavaş issued an ultimatum to Kılıçdaroğlu, saying, "What you are doing will divide CHP. If you do this, I will withdraw from politics."
CALL FOR JOINT ACTION BY ÖZEL AND KILIÇDAROĞLU
In a written statement he made on June 27, Yavaş reacted to these discussions, emphasizing that it is unacceptable for intra-party dialogue to be conducted with insulting tones. He also called for both Özel and Kılıçdaroğlu to act together.
DENIED THE NEWSPAPER'S REPORT
Today, a newspaper wrote that Yavaş said, "Everything was discussed and conveyed. The matter turned into a fight. I don't think there will be a meeting from this point on." However, Yavaş directly responded to the newspaper's social media post, clearly stating that he did not say these words: "I have no such statement."
