The Communication Presidency Disinformation Combat Center has made a statement regarding the claims that Japan will impose visa requirements on Turkey, which have been discussed for days. It has been reported that the claims published in the press and on social media accounts are not true.

The Disinformation Combat Center of the Presidency of Communication announced that the claim that Japan has imposed a visa requirement on Turkey is not true. In a statement made on the social media account of the Disinformation Combat Center, it was stated that the claim "Japan has imposed a visa requirement on Turkey" shared on some social media accounts and appeared in some press outlets is not true. According to the 'Visa Exemption Agreement' between Turkey and Japan, citizens traveling to Japan for tourism and business purposes are exempt from visas for a period of 3 months. Do not believe in such claims that aim to mislead the public.
