Hale Caneroğlu, who is remembered for her character Yaprak in the series Avrupa Yakası, explained the reason for her long absence from the screens. Caneroğlu stated that she withdrew due to the burnout syndrome she experienced and the disappointments she faced in the industry.
Actor and singer Hale Caneroğlu was a guest on Saba Tümer's program broadcasted on CNBC-e. Caneroğlu, who has been away from the screens for a long time, openly explained for the first time the reason for her disappearance after Avrupa Yakası.
Caneroğlu, who stated that the intense work pace had worn her out, mentioned that during the same period she was both acting in a series and performing in stage shows, saying, “I was giving 10-15 concerts a month. I was going from the set to the stage and from the stage to the set. I was so busy that sometimes I had to get an IV in between.”

Caneroğlu, who said that everything looked very good from the outside but she was actually going through a very difficult process, expressed, “I looked like a princess on stage, but I was actually very exhausted. I had reached a point where I didn't even want to sing.”

Caneroğlu also mentioned that one of the biggest reasons for her disappearance after Avrupa Yakası was the shortcomings in her career planning, stating, “It was completely due to my lack of knowledge. I didn't have a manager; I thought all the offers would come directly to me.”
Caneroğlu conveyed that Uğurkan Erez had told her at that time that he could draw a different career path for her, and she noted that the offers she received after the series were far below her financial expectations.
Caneroğlu explained the reason for staying away from the screens with the words, “The fees I received after Avrupa Yakası were half of what I earned in the series. I didn't want to lose my self-respect, so I became disillusioned with the industry.”
