In the competition program called Tenable, the contestant's inability to name a capital city that shares the same name as theirs sparked a significant reaction on social media. The host, Warwick Davis, asked the contestant to name 10 countries that start with the letters G and L and have 7 letters. However, instead of saying 'Georgia,' which is the same as their name, the contestant mentioned a different country.
In the Tenable competition broadcast in the UK, a contestant blushed when they made a mistake on a very simple geography question.
The audience was surprised that the contestant couldn't even name a capital city that shares the same name as them.
Host Warwick Davis asked the team to name 10 countries that start with the letters G and L and have 7 letters.
However, the contestant Georgia said another country instead of her own name "Georgia," thus missing a very obvious answer.
This mistake received a lot of backlash on social media. Some viewers asked, "Where was the mind?"
Others joked, "It's a country that is exactly seven letters long and starts with G."
Warwick Davis called on the authorities to bring the competition back after ITV canceled the program.
Davis is known for his roles in famous films like Harry Potter and Star Wars.
The Tenable program he hosted had been running since 2016 but was canceled this August.
Warwick, who stated that he loved the show, thinks that the competition might return after seeing the fans' reactions.
Warwick said, "Hosting Tenable was a lot of fun for me. People are still watching and enjoying the old episodes."
He also joked, "I would like to make videos of those who miss Tenable and send them to ITV."
Stating that the channel needs to provide high ratings and good revenue to restart, Warwick emphasized that television has changed and advertisers are important.
"One day it might make sense for Tenable to be made again. Maybe there will even be a Tenable movie in the future!" he said.
