Galatasaray has mutually terminated the contract of 32-year-old midfielder Sergio Oliveira. The yellow-reds have informed the Turkish Football Federation about this departure and will pay Oliveira a total compensation of 5.8 million euros in installments over 3 years. On the other hand, the experienced footballer's new team has also been determined. The Portuguese star has signed a 2-year contract with the Greek team Olympiakos.

Galatasaray has parted ways with Sergio Oliveira. The yellow-reds have informed the federation that the contract of the 32-year-old Portuguese midfielder has been mutually terminated.

WILL SIGN A 2-YEAR CONTRACT WITH OLYMPIAKOS

Sergio Oliveira will sign with Olympiakos. According to the news on SDNA, the Greek team has reached a 2-year agreement with Sergio Oliveira. After leaving Galatasaray, Oliveira traveled to Athens on a private plane. After the health checks, Oliveira will sign a contract that will bind him to Olympiakos.

5.8 MILLION EUROS COMPENSATION WILL BE PAID

The yellow-red team will pay 5.8 million euros as compensation for the contract termination to Sergio Oliveira. This payment will be made in installments spread over 3 years.

Galatasaray had signed Oliveira from Porto for 3 million euros at the start of the 2022-23 season. The Portuguese player, who played in 24 matches last season, scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists.
