"TEHRAN REGIME NOT BROKEN"
The Washington Post (WP) revealed a diplomatic communication circulated by the US Embassy in Israel on Friday, March 13, and sent to the US Department of State.
According to this diplomatic communication, it included an Israeli assessment that despite the death of former Iranian leader Ali Khamenei in the attacks and the US and Israel's assaults on Iran, the Tehran regime is "not broken" and "ready to fight to the end."
ISRAEL EXPECTS UPRISING
The communication noted that Israeli officials expressed hope for an uprising in Iran and stated that the US should be ready to support the protesters in such a situation.
It was claimed in the communication that if protesters take to the streets, they would be "massacred," and the reason for this was attributed to the "dominance of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps."
COMMUNICATIONS FROM A WEEK AGO
This diplomatic communication is said to summarize the recent meetings between US officials and senior officials from the Israeli National Security Council, Ministry of Defense, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs held on March 11-12.
